5th grade mural

Fifth graders started and finished this ceiling tile mural at the Rockin' Lock-in this past Friday night. There were a total of about 75 kids. They had 45 minutes to start and finish our mural. They did a great job! Congratulations to them and thank you to all the parents who got alittle painty and helped out in the art room. Watch the iMovie to see what we did

5th grade yarn bombing

Yarn bombing is a new form of street art. Like graffiti, it's illegal but its intentions are to spread warmth, love and color throughouth cities across the globe. We used an old cup as a mold, dipped our yarn in glue, strand by messy strand, and created a design that covered the cup. Once the glue dried, we removed the cup and our creations were complete,
